Welcome to Hickory Ridge Estates in Branson, Missouri! Home to “the finest homes being built in the Ozarks”.

Fall is here! Fall means that the nights and the days are equal in time. This means that the days are shorter, and the temperatures are cooler.
A great time of year to take in the beauty of nature. To realize we are on this earth to enjoy, and fulfill our purpose.
Found this poem by Ellen Robena Field.
Golden and red trees
Nod to the soft breeze,
As it whispers, “Winter is near;”
And the brown nuts fall
At the wind’s loud call,
For this is the Fall of the year.
Good-by, sweet flowers!
Through bright Summer hours
You have filled our hearts with cheer
We shall miss you so,
And yet you must go,
For this is the Fall of the year.
Now the days grow cold,
As the year grows old,
And the meadows are brown and sere;
Brave robin redbreast
Has gone from his nest,
For this is the Fall of the year.
I do softly pray
At the close of day,
That the little children, so dear,
May as purely grow
As the fleecy snow
That follows the Fall of the year.
The cold night temperatures change the leaves into colors that are beautiful! Orange, Yellow, Gold, Green and all shades of the above. These colors on the trees are much like the rainbow that comes after a rainstorm. In Genesis 9:8-17 it says that God created a (covenant) promise to not flood the earth again, and that promise he put in living color by giving us a rainbow as a reminder. When God promises something you can count on it! He does not change! Aren’t you glad that nature responds to Gods programming, so we can count on the seasons to always have the same characteristics. It reminds us that time is passing, and that we need to breath deep and enjoy the time we have. Enjoy our families and friends.
God programs all of nature to respond to His clock, but it is still amazing to see the changes that happen precisely the same every year. Psalm 104:19 He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down. Jeremiah 8:7 Even the stork in the sky knows her appointed seasons, and the dove, the swift and the thrush observe the time of their migration.
What a beautiful time of year this is! The mornings are chilly and welcome a warm cup of coffee! The afternoons are sunny and warm (not too hot, just right). The nights are cold, and great for the first fire in the fireplace. The smell of a fireplace burning is one of the best smells of Fall. Our family enjoys sitting around the fire, and watching tv, and talking. Living in Missouri is never dull, and we have learned to appreciate each season of the year. Remember when the leaves fall, Thanksgiving is coming, and so is Christmas, the best family time of the whole year!
What an amazing year 2011 has been! Our entry to Hickory Ridge was planted with fresh flowers, and it looked amazing! Our roads were freshly seal coated to give them that NEW ROAD look. This gives us a well manicured look from the entry to the back of Hickory which is about a mile. How beautiful it is to drive into this neighborhood, with all the care and personal attention to detail. Hickory Ridge has a continual maintenance program that is second to none in Branson. We want to always look fresh, colorful, manicured, and clean! It is our way of saying: Welcome Home!
God is giving us so many blessings. First: 3 grandsons now almost 2 years old (Evan Keene, Johnny Greenstone) and One Grandson (Kade Winans) is almost 6 months old. Second: We have some great neighbors who happen to be performers, at the Pierce Arrow Show in Branson (Gary and Kim Koreiba). We encourage you to see their show, it is one of the best in Branson! Hurry it ends in December. Third: We have great churches in Branson that support the community, and let people know that God loves You. This LOVE translates into a great place to live. Fourth: Family Fun, Fun, Fun! at Silver Dollar City as one of our favorites the “Old Time Christmas” begins November 5 – December 31. Do you enjoy Christmas Carols, Millions of Lights, fresh hot food and drinks, many smiles and friendly people? We always buy a ”Season Pass” this time of year as it is good thru 2012 as well, this allows us to visit the City many times thruout the year. These are just a few of our Thankful thoughts for 2011. God is so good to us! HE is good all the time, because that is who HE is! We are thankful for our new neighbors, who make our community and even better place to live. We cherish great friends and neighbors, up and down Newbury Road. YOU are the missing piece in our puzzle? We would love to speak with you about living at Hickory Ridge. Call us at 417-294-2999 so we can open the entry gate for you to drive thru. Yes we have a security gate that closes at dark. Come by and visit, and we will pour you a Hot Cider and find out what your wish list is.
We are thankful for what is happening at Hickory Ridge. God is continuing to bless us with beautiful homes, and new friendly neighbors. We have had many people visiting the development the last few weeks, and they are searching for that perfect lot, with a view facing just a certain way. Lot 9B is being built fast! This home is going to be beautiful, it will add to the beauty of our wonderful community. Come by and watch the progress. We are excited to have a Dentist Dr. Nick Yiannios and his wife Valana ( Dr. Nicks Website http://1visitdds.com/) soon in the neighborhood. If you live in the area and need a good dentist, he is truly the best. I don’t like pain, and if you don’t either give him a call. His new office is located next to Akers and Arney, across from the Yakov Theater.
We are happy to have you visit as many times as you want, and you will never feel pressure from us to buy in a hurry! We sell the lots ourselves rather than thru a real estate broker, so you get the facts from us direct. This has also allowed us to meet each of the prospective buyers personally, and guarantees our NO PRESSURE sales approach. We want happy people, who are glad they live here, just like us.
Lot prices start at just:$ 39,500 for a 5 acre lot, and with a cash closing you get a 10% discount, which buys an estate lot for as low as $ 37,500! (The price of a new car, which immediately depreciates about 20% when you drive it away)
The following is some History…
When we (the owners) bought this property, we were looking for a place where nice people would want to build. Where they could be proud of their neighborhood, and talk with their neighbors. Hickory Ridge is that place! It is a 430 acre pristine hilltop, surrounded by ancient forest. We built our homes on Lots 37 and 20. Yes we live here, so we are intimately involved in making sure this community will turn out to be one of the finest in the Ozarks. Feel free to contact us when you drive thru the neighborhood, so we can answer all of your questions. Many new homes are being designed and built. The style of these homes vary, and are unique inside and out. There are large and smaller homes here. The architectural committee simply looks for quality design, and attractive architecture, starting at a minimum of 2000 square feet on the main level. We have attached a link in our website that has the CC&R’s for your review.
We are excited about our “Cottage Floorplans” with 2089 to 3352 square feet, starting from $261k (which includes home, well, and septic) all you add is the Lot. Please look in the section marked “Spectacular New Homes from $ 261,000″, I think you will be overjoyed with how fantastic these homes are, we have had two of these homes completed on Lot 1 and 32. You can now live in a Million Dollar Neighborhood for a lot less.
We also have references for several quality builders, who would be happy to meet with you, and discuss your ideas. You may also bring your own architectural plans, and begin to enjoy the peaceful and relaxing lifestyle at Hickory Ridge. Welcoming + Friendly + Safe = Home: HOME describes the feeling we are trying to convey to all who visit. Just down the tree lined entrance, sits a Farmhouse-Colorado Lodge home. The Rocking Chairs sit on the wrap-around porch just waiting for friends to come by and rock away the hours, to enjoy the view of the Ozark Hills, with a tall glass of ice-cold lemonade. This ‘piece of heaven’ is really taking shape as a place to build your dream home. 417 Magazine has already showcased the Farmhouse-Lodge home in their magazine. Click Here to view .
Around the bend, a 4000 square foot Craftsmen style home brings back warm memories of Grandma’s house. The friendly front porch, is ideal for waving at neighbors passing by. As the road continues to meander past rolling hills, you’ll be delighted to see multiple Old World European homes. Their Story-book architecture is classic and charming, among the centuries-old Oak and Black Walnut trees.
We have a great Architect Ron Hill, who has designs that can fit almost any budget. We have several completed Ron Hill homes from 2000 to 2500 square foot range. These two homes are now finished and look amazing. There is still room for you and your family. We believe Hickory can be home to almost everyone in every price range.
Our New Neighbors (Mr. & Mrs. Kent Crutcher/Branson Police Chief) on Lot 15 recently bought a picturesque home that was voted the “Home of the Year for 2009″ by 417 Home Magazine. I think you will agree this is a well deserved award. This home is sitting on a hilltop overlooking miles of amazing view! They definitely picked the right lot! Click Here to view the Crutchers home.
